I am a native North Carolinian and even though I have lived in quite a few states , NC is my home . I am raising three children here with my wonderful husband and I'm enjoying all that Fayetteville has to offer .I currently Teach Bellydance at the Hope mills Rec center
- Middle Eastern Dance
- I became involved in Middle Eastern dance through the SCA ( Society for Creative Anacronism) An interesting living history organization . In the SCA I had a middle-Eastern persona that I wanted to flesh out and bellydance seemed like a great start . I quickly grew to adore the dance classes I was taking and when the invitation to Join this Dance troupe came I jumped .Due to a move I left the troupe in 2004 when we briefly relocated to NM and have since returned and added to my family . I was just recently welcomed back into the troupe and I am looking forward to working with my lovely sisters again !
New Interests
- I am really interested in designing original strange, new ,dramatic , exotic styles of costuming, hair & make-up for bellydance performances This type of creation is definatly a passion for me . I am interested in fire and sword work as well as less main stream areas of Belly dance such as Gothic and experimental styles !
